Spiritual joys are lasting, and they beautify a life more than anything else does. They enrich it in many ways, at levels where the achievements of a lifetime remain precious. Beginning on a path opens up new horizons onto the Infinite. It is not easy for humans to imagine all aspects of such an approach. The ways of the Divine are not really understandable to any human being, however developed he or she may be. One must be content with going ever further in one’s commitment, one’s faith. When faith carries a person in a masterly fashion, the delights of the Spirit present themselves, as they do to a true mystic who is fervently committed. Each person advances at his or her own pace; what matters is to begin, to be truly committed, and then over time opportunities arise which the seeker had not imagined. ‘Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see the light’ – these words suggest what such a commitment can offer. This mystical love has no limit; it conquers, it reassures, it strengthens in the face of adversity, it delights the soul endlessly. Each person manages in his or her own manner this most precious asset; happy are those who not only possess it, but also find the way that best suits them in order to reap the best results. “May our dear abhyasis be blessed and strengthened.”
