Life is never simple. Happiness, as human beings conceive it, [merely] represents stages that are more pleasing than others. Worries are inevitable; they shape the personality, so that each one can face his or her karma. Advancing in spirituality allows one to divest oneself of what is useless, to develop at a higher level and, especially, to really progress towards a more refined level of consciousness. Everything is very subtle in the meanderings of the Spirit, which determines the personality and the form one’s destiny needs to take for the blossoming of the soul. So many factors are involved. The multiple aspects of life cannot be understood except by a sage who has been shaped into a ‘special’ personality from one lifetime to the next, after many different sufferings and ordeals. Great spiritual Masters manage to overcome the greatest ordeals, protected by their inner strength – there lies the goal of any approach, when the soul longs for bliss above all else. From one lifetime to the next, a path unfolds that allows those who are wise to determine what they will be according to their capabilities. Love and surrender are required, and faith and perseverance allow one to reach the highest. “May all be strengthened and enlightened on the real necessities of life.”
