It is not always easy to adapt to the different tests that life has in store. Each test has its raison d’être; if well accepted, it allows one to grow in wisdom. This long road is full of uncertainties about what tomorrow holds. Who does not wonder about the future? The days go by, and fortunately they bring one back to the essentials, to that which constitutes the best in a human being. A moment of interiorisation and deep meditation allows one to eliminate that which disrupts the sought-after balance; such balance creates a harmony that is desirable for subtle bodies. “Serenity is often attained after much effort; nothing is in vain and everything is warranted. It is not always easy to understand why one must struggle throughout a lifetime in order to derive the best of it. Engaging in a spiritual way denotes a real aspiration to the Divine, and a call is always heard. Tests cannot be avoided. They are necessary for everyone, we repeat. Each one faces up to them in his or her own manner – such is the challenge. The devout mystic becomes strengthened in the process of transcending them and considers what they can ultimately provide. When tests are well accepted, they make the person stronger. Nothing is in vain, believe me – the most apparently trivial act has its raison d’être. The school of life is inescapable, and no one can avoid it. The spiritual work makes you stronger; being convinced of this is a sign of wisdom that gives a positive meaning to what can be bewildering. May all be strengthened in the face of tests and remain serene against all odds. Our incessant blessings accompany them.”
