Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof, so the saying goes1. Therefore, heed this adage; you can’t change anything in the course of days. You are permanently carried by faith in us and by love. Therefore, live day by day and remain confident. See these beautiful letters you receive from our abhyasis who are moved by these messages and are happy to testify. This sacred refuge is one that is immutable. The vicissitudes of life do not reach it. Be at peace against all odds; come what may, we are at your side and we show you our love enough so that you can carry on your way unperturbed. Beyond this incarnation, there will be another one with other challenges and struggles, but also with joys and the possibility, according to your wishes, of working in the service of the Divine. That sole goal is laudable, don’t you think? It repeats itself for you from life to life and is, in itself, a rare blessing for which your heart yearns and which delights your soul. This message is personal, you will say. We know your reactions, but you must pass it on, as it is also addressed to all our abhyasis who are on the journey of life and who also face unavoidable difficulties. You have many reasons to rejoice despite your being confined and leading a life that in certain ways is painful, although it does not appear so. Your heart is the seat of all delights. It knows how to keep secret the rapture that enchants it when, far from human turmoil, it bathes in the flow of love generated by a profound appeal which we answer with equal intensity. Well, my dear daughter, each and every one creates within themselves a space conducive to the delights of the soul. Isolated from the world, you give yourself over to this inclination. May one and all work in this direction. Nothing can impede the impulses of an ardent soul; we respond to it. This is how it is!

“Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought of the things for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” This quotation appears in the Bible — Matthew 6:34. It implies that each day contains an ample burden of evils and suffering, with the understanding that we should avoid adding to them. The World English Bible translates the passage as: “Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.”
