As regards this matter of displaying portraits [of the Masters], my son's reactions are human. He does not yet truly realise the impact of his incarnate person in this world.
We do understand him, but the fervour of abhyasis is growing and this refusal is not justified in their eyes. What he now represents, after so many years of dedication to our cause, is beyond him. This modesty and humility characterise him, but his spiritual personage no longer belongs to him. He must face the facts and dissociate the human from the divine, which is irreversible in his position as the current incarnate Master. He is the sacred image of our Mission, and as such, how could he not appear beside us? We had to revert to this fact and ask him to deeply ponder this topic.
It is up to him. May he fully realise, in a state of absolute yet realistic detachment, that the issue of displaying his picture alongside ours requires his decision.
We support him in this period of great fatigue. He overexerts himself, hence the current consequences for him. We help him as best as possible, holding him high with our united forces.
To him, all our love – a divinised one.
