Janmastami [Lord Krishna's Birthday]

Remember that Great Being, Lord Krishna, and how he put his stamp on your heart the day he appeared before you.

These moments in one's lifetime are unforgettable; they are a sign of significant spiritual advancement. The greatest came towards you; do you know why? It does not seem so. It is truly a grace that should not be forgotten, any more than all the others. These messages are suffused with that grace. They give off a subtle fragrance which is recognisable to great souls. Such souls make it their own and are elated to praise that which is necessary for the impulses of fervent hearts.

Remembering these special days is a blessing; they punctuate a spiritual life with pauses that are necessary for the evolution of the being. We have already said that all birthdays of the great Masters should be celebrated in a state of fervour and contemplation. Happy are those who benefit from them; they are blessed by the gods.
