My dearest son, We all, at some point on our spiritual journey, were deluded on the human level. The Great Masters who marked history underwent this profound sadness, this disappointment about the nature of living beings. It is as it is; no human being can thoroughly change it [the nature of living beings]. The veil of illusion distorts our view of things. Only an effective spiritual path can enable humans to rise up, to overcome their shadowy areas. No one escapes. From one lifetime to the next, that which is bound to be, does occur: progress towards the Ultimate goal.

Do not be sad, my beloved son; what had to be, has happened. Your final choice will be all the more correct, in line with our wish. Everything had to unfold in this way. You have absolutely nothing to reproach yourself with; that is how it goes with the divine laws. Each great spiritual Master in the world must go through these steps which are very painful and revelatory of human nature; they help lift him up to the higher power, such as is granted to those who are Chosen.

Be at peace, in spite of everything. We watch over your heart which keeps growing and becoming more beautiful. May our love accompany you at every moment, especially when disappointment washes over you.
