Being far from one's Master does not mean stagnating; in such a case, only personal commitment matters, as well as ardour in uniting with the Master. Whatever a disciple's remoteness, his heart is inhabited and suffused with an energy that is specific to our way, and which shapes him to our liking. Too many people tend to forget it.
