How could your states of soul not influence these messages? They are addressed to human beings, to our aspirants. All are caught in the tide of life and they undergo the many fluctuations of it. By taking into account your sufferings, your worries, we also think of all our brothers and sisters, and we want to help them through these writings. Compassion is not an empty word; we did not discover it. Without it, the human race would be of the worst sort. Compassion is desperately lacking in this world, but many try to practise it as best they can. We encourage our followers not to neglect this aspect of their spirituality; this is essential.

Taking into account one's fellow creatures is the least one should do. All men are brothers and they forget it, not having yet integrated this necessity for unity in the face of divine power. Human beings believe they are the most advanced among the creatures populating this Earth; they show it in a curious way by not respecting what surrounds them. Engaging in a spiritual process is also participating in a positive and responsible manner in a system of life from which no one can escape.
