Don't let yourself be caught like that in this swirl of negative energies. Preserve your resources; it is essential for the work you are doing for us, and which takes up your energy. Be vigilant, my child.
"Man is constantly subjected to his environment. It is not always easy to control oneself and step back in all the circumstances when wisdom is required. The refuge is in oneself; it is sure and it does not disappoint. Unremitting practice leads to this vigilance, desirable in every respect. Man feels the strains of modern life from all sides; he needs a solid equilibrium to face up to his many obligations.
"Our aspirants learn how to dissociate material life from the spiritual one and to develop themselves towards their elevation. Except for their spiritual asset, what will remain of their tangible properties, for which they very often neglect the main things? All can be reconciled with some sense of goodwill, and especially common sense. A wise man tries to manage everything while remaining in harmony with himself. This search for a satisfactory equilibrium strengthens him in his quest and opens up new prospects. Self-control entails many struggles that allow one to emerge from the human experience with increased stature.
"It is in the heart of life, in its tumult, that the spiritual being is moulded. This happens when the ardour of the aspirant so applies itself, having no option. To each his own way; only the deeper aspiration of the seeker enables him to find the best, that which is most suited to his true nature."
