My dear son, you are the enlightened guide of our Mission on this Earth. Who better than you can prepare your successor for the heavy task ahead of him? His recognised presence by your side will be reassuring as regards the continuation of your action; he will thus be installed in good condition.

"Our brothers and sisters will have to get used to the idea that one day, you too will leave this Earth and that the Master chosen to succeed you is worthy of their trust. By accepting him, they will show wisdom and surrender to the higher will, for the continuity and prosperity of our system. They will show their spiritual maturity by serving him also with faith and dedication.

"The expansion of our Mission in the world will require undoubted competence by the best people in charge in order to consolidate, and even extend, the current arrangements to meet the existing needs. Spiritual practice must take place under good conditions; it is not easy to provide for it. There, too, time will bring answers to the yearnings of our abhyasis.

"Consolidate, structure: these concepts will prevail more and more in the future, but first and foremost, motivation and fervour should not wane when confronted with some material worries. We have said it: our Mission is at a turning point in its history towards open-mindedness, tolerance and acceptance of its Master's decisions.

"My son, you received the powers; it is up to you to utilise them until the end, with surrender and love – a love that characterises you and which you have
