The simplicity of the style of these texts will manage to touch the hearts of our brothers, more than a speech claiming to be literary—that is not our objective. Only a savour of truth must emanate from these messages, likely to help an aspirant in his spiritual practices.

"In our way, all is to be considered from that point of view: anything that can contribute to everyday life by supplementing one's practice is appreciable, hence the need for a non-compulsory reading, like this one. Many of our brothers will be in the habit of integrating it with their process; with time, it will become part of it, quite naturally. Nothing should be neglected in such a matter. Time is short, the aspirant is not always aware of it, that is why it is good to remind him about that.

"All things mentioned throughout these messages are only repetitions of what he knows already, but he too often forgets it as he is entangled in the swirl of life in this world, which is a hindrance to a complete commitment to his quest for the Divine.

"These messages have therefore to be considered as they are, i.e., as a supplement to the fundamentals of our teaching. Our way has soared with time; this addition can only consolidate what exists already. These apparently simple texts are not insignificant; a regular reading will reveal it to our brothers. Only perseverance on all levels will make them understand the validity of these remarks."
