Yes, thus are your incarnations on the Earth. You perform in some stage play. "An actor manages to perfect his talent as he performs it from play to play. Likewise, from life to life you learn and you refine yourselves. "All that you consider as being important here below is important in a very relative way. Try to persuade yourself of it. You will suffer less from all the events that disturb the course of your life; they are necessary for your evolution.
"You are, in turn, the characters of either a comedy or a tragedy. You play either a good or bad role; you are the good one or the bad one. When the play is over, it remains as nothing else but a memory in people's minds and yours.
"Is this so important? Is the main part in yourself weakened by the play of your character? That was only an additional experience. The same applies for each one of your lives.
"Therefore, you should keep reading from that perspective when you experience tragic situations. If you become well imbued with this way of seeing things, these situations will be more bearable for you.
"Once this incarnation is complete, you will see it as it really is: a new initiatory stage, by and large successful, according to the degree of wisdom you will have attained. You will have experienced it only for that: to grow and to forge further and further ahead in your search."
