Yes, such are your incarnations on Earth. You are performing a part in a particular play. Actors manage to perfect their talent as they exercize it from play to play.
Likewise, from life to life, you progress and refine yourselves.
All that you consider important here below is important in a very relative way.
Try to fully persuade yourselves of this. You will suffer less from all the events that disturb the course of your life; they are necessary for your evolution.
You are, in turn, the characters of either a comedy or a tragedy.
You have the good role or the bad one; you are the good guy or the bad guy.
Once the play is over, it is merely a memory in people's minds and in yours.
Was it so important? Is the essential in yourself undermined by the playing of your character? It was merely one more experience.
The same goes for each one of your lives, so really keep that perspective when you are living through dramatic situations.
If you fully imbibe this way of seeing things, they will be more bearable to you.
Once this incarnation is complete, you will see it as it really is: a new initiatory step, more or less successful depending on the wisdom you have acquired.
You will have lived it only for that: to grow and to move ever further in your quest.
