Let an immutable joy suffuse in you, it will protect you from many pains. To face up to the many ordeals marking out one's life is the challenge to take up. This flame, which burns in you, is the best asset meant to accompany you on this Earthly journey. We have already said this enough and we will repeat it again: the strength accumulated in this spiritual progress provides the surest support in any event.

"Your Master sets an example of courage and abnegation. Nothing is easy for him, he must face the many difficulties specific to the development of the Mission, manage the human and material problems which keep cropping up here and there! That is how life is: even within a spiritual way, nothing is simple in its environment where our aspirants can realize their weak points and try to remedy them. Human conflicts are permanent; it is a little unfortunate to note in some of our brothers behaviours hindering harmonious relations. In some circumstances, tendencies are revealed, showing to the people concerned how important it is to work on oneself and to admit that the other one is not the only one who must do it.

"It is easier to judge one's brother than to keep a check rigorously on oneself. The human being is like that: as the spiritual practice does not wipe out easily all the asperities of the character, they can appear to be more effectively overcome. They should not discourage our aspirants; they should keep a check on themselves rather than striving to observe others.

"Every person is alone on his own journey, and only he can measure and determine his own progress, with tolerance, surrender and love as the key points in this matter."
