Today's quietness facilitates your listening and the opening of your heart to reassuring remarks on divine love. You appreciate the play of words; when it is about glorifying it, your heart feels carried away in a flood of love, which it cannot resist. Nothing else exists when this jubilation takes hold of it; it could indefinitely chant psalms and let its songs rise towards God or the one who personifies Him. These moments are rapture for the soul. It can show its worth, by opening under divine fires.
"These moments of profound peace soothe the physical body, forgetting the ebb and flow of life that constantly drives it into activities to which it must be subjected.
"This breathing of the soul is essential for its balance, which today's man does not understand very well. He is endlessly very busy, feeling the need to escape most of the time, to avoid facing himself. He is afraid of inaction, which weighs heavily on him when he cannot look towards what is eternal in himself. This step is not easily made without real motivation, a profound and irresistible call that he will end up answering.
"This unsatisfied soul can unsettle him, he searches vainly in this world for that which is beyond and which sensual satisfaction cannot fulfil. One day, this call will become too strong, then it will need to be remedied.
"May all these souls manage to be heard and find here below their suitable spiritual food.
--Reflections
"Our way meets the expectation of a certain number of these souls, thank God."
