Your physical body is a torment for you; do not lose heart, my daughter. Time is passing; it leads you towards an accomplishment provided by your spiritual process. What will only live on after this life is the dimension you have given it by being determined in your efforts, your faith in God and in your Master.
"The refuge is in you, as you know; it makes you get over all. The baseness of the world fades and your pains subside in these moments of communion where nothing else exists. They make you stronger, more capable of enduring the inevitable, which each human being is subjected to. It is in one's efforts that a destiny can find fulfilment; nothing can be obtained without them. Until the end, these efforts must lay the foundation in an existence whose many facets offer man a conducive environment for his own fulfilment – divine grace being the major aspect that crowns it all.
"Spiritual practice makes it possible for man to find himself, to find a secure pillar to anchor his faith to. It channels the aspirations of the soul, finding in a way like ours the means of giving them free rein. The cleaning process that is carried out [in our way] relieves the researcher of cumbersome burdens slowing down his progress. To gain ground is important in this business. Life is short; it must show a positive balance acquired through the efforts of the aspirant. We cannot do everything for him; his part of the work does not come within our remit. Only his determination to follow us will allow our entire freedom of action."
