Do not lose heart, my daughter. The ebb and flow of life creates energy, you cannot escape it. This world is subjected to a permanent movement. It can seem destabilising, but at this level of existence, it is the very essence of life. Wisdom consists of finding the right inner balance and sticking to it, without putting up too much resistance and unnecessarily wasting one's strength. Life on this Earth is as it stands; it is necessary to put up with it. Everybody must go through it. It is a formative and enriching period for those who manage to step back from events.
"Stability lies elsewhere: in a spiritual process strengthening the follower and enlightening him on the reality of his educational but transitory existence. This process makes his life meaningful in that he knows where he is going, without fearing death which, as he knows, cannot affect the essence of his being.
"Here below, man is subjected to all kinds of ordeals: from the first to the last day of his life, he has to face up to them. Miserable is he who does not believe in God; he is like a blind person who cannot see the light and hopelessly searches around him for a means of finding his way. That is the greatest ordeal for a human being. May it one day definitively be banished, for the good of all.
"Happy are those who already believe; this wisdom makes them stronger."
