The day you leave this world, you will realise its fleeting nature. You become aware of it more and more, which allows you to be detached from it and to stop attaching the same importance to events. Thus comes wisdom to the hearts conquered by divinity. To stand back, to see things with lucidity, protects them from many disappointments. Nothing is stable in this world, knowing this is a protection. Man's biggest tragedy is to take things for granted: goods, love and health, yet we know all that is nothing of the sort. By sticking to what is immutable, the human being acquires strength and stability that help him to build his life, while minimising the fear of the following day. The more he advances on the path, the more this growing strength in himself reassures him. He knows why he is suffering and he cries, wondering why he must fight throughout his life. May the time come soon when each being living on this planet, will be able to consider himself as participating in an initiatory stage meant to develop in him what is essential to his spiritual blooming, without which he will not be able to evolve. There is so much to do, but the cause is not desperate; it will, sooner or later, lead to a successful outcome."
