In our way, just like in any serious spiritual way, the candidate advances by degrees; and beyond a certain level, the commitment becomes stricter. It is no longer about dabbling in rising; the candidate must know what he wants, truly. To graduate from this status to that of a close disciple of the Master entails going through various stages aimed at leading to this capability. True disciples do not fall over each other at the Master's feet. Becoming such a disciple is a nice success, which one can only rejoice about.

"The way is long and difficult; each one follows it at one's own pace, and like that, it is well. All these concepts are mysterious to humans; by remaining surrendered and confident and in a state of love, they cannot lose their way. All their efforts are counted; they should rest assured on this point. Striving towards this goal, i.e., uniting completely with the Master, is very commendable. When they ask in their hearts for it very sincerely, our associates are heard and they are guided so that their search can lead to this success. May the ardour of you all not weaken; it will lead you towards the goal, with our blessings which keep accompanying you."
