If man could have a real idea of the size of the universe, he would feel minuscule and unimportant. Seeing only his own universe, that which he himself shapes as a human being, he brings his existence back to proportions more right in his eyes, which increase his stature. His pride would suffer if he could imagine that his life is so ridiculous. His ego needs to give itself importance to exist in the superiority he believes he has, at least compared to other species created and living in this world – this world which he believes is unique, in terms of its knowledge, its evolution and the place he believes it occupies in this vast program. Things cannot be otherwise: times will come when the inhabitants of this Earth will have the right view of things. Their eyes will have opened to the cosmic reality; as they themselves would have reached another dimension, a portion of knowledge will become accessible to them. Man, in general, makes do with his little degree of openness. The exiguity of his knowledge is enough for him. Certain truths are disturbing for him. He prefers to move within the limits of his comprehension and wait for the moment when his eyes will be closed to this world, without seeking to know more about it."
