All the facets of a human being must manifest themselves and all his tendencies must be expressed, [so as] to free him little by little from the burden that he is loaded down with. The sadhana helps him to climb this steep path. He tries to find himself in this long quest where he must find the necessary support to divest himself of useless things. His efforts are not in vain; he is making progress and rising little by little towards the summit. From his first cry, man is confronted with difficulty. To be born is not an easy task, and the remainder of his life holds many surprises for him: good ones but also very bad ones. This initiatory way may not be to his liking, but if he earns a little wisdom, he will recognise the validity of it. If he is granted the grace to venerate God, that will illuminate his path; he will better seize the beauty of it, which is beyond the many asperities that punctuate it. Faith gives unequalled strength and also a special dimension to all that constitutes daily life, in each one of its aspects. May the sun of faith illuminate your lives by gratifying them with this unique dimension which will halo them with all the graces."
