Do you realise that between my son and you a relationship of a very special nature – and shall we say, an exceptional one – is being developed? By answering our wishes, you accomplish what was long planned. Being surrendered is complying with God's intentions without trying to understand the purpose thereof. Like all our candidates, you can take your Master as a model – he is the most assiduous in serving us in utmost acceptance. His heavy task weighs on him enormously; only his great courage enables him to face up to it. His inexpressible love for us gives a special dimension to his acts, which are imbued with a greatness of soul that characterises beings who have influenced this planet. Service at this level requires rather rare qualities, some of which can be found in all those who devote their life to a right cause.
